When it comes to external things, everyone likes new and fresh. However, when it comes to themselves, people tend to stick to their old nature and old behavior. In their hunt for new possessions, people forget to attend to the needs of their own soul. Yet even if they wanted to change themselves, many people feel entrapped in their engrained patterns of thoughts and behaviors.
Is there a way out? Is it possible to be freed from old damaging behaviors? Is it possible to find a life that is fulfilling and rewarding? Is it possible to break away from damaging attitudes and thoughts?
In a profound yet recondite statement Jesus said, “One’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses” (Luke 12:15, NKJV). Obviously, the popular concept of happiness as being determined by the abundance of wealth and possessions one has seems seriously out of step with Christ’s declaration. In contrast to this worldly wisdom, the Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12 to “not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Of infinitely greater importance than the mere accumulation of riches is the renewal of one’s mind, bringing it into conformity with the One who is the Author of Life itself.

The key to contentment, fulfillment, and purpose is to have a qualitatively different life. The renewed life is not grounded on what the world considers to be desirable but rather it is based on true knowledge. That knowledge is found in Jesus Christ.
To that end we are committed to publishing materials which are refreshing, reviving and restoring, but perhaps most of all, life-changing. Our goal is that we all continue to be renewed in the knowledge of Christ.
